Create and Light a Saltwater Aquarium
Investigate a variety of plants, fish and coral that can live in saltwater aquaria. Choose a few to live in your tank then decide how to light the tank so all of its inhabitants thrive.Fish Reflection Spectra and Colors
This is a colorful Regal Angelfish. We see different colors in the fish’s patterns because they reflect different amounts of visible light at different wavelengths. Let’s investigate the reflection spectra from different parts of the fish and try to identify the colors that go with each one.

- Under Fish Spectra, use the dropdown menu to view each mystery spectrum.
- Use what you learned about how light colors mix (Module 2) to identify what color corresponds to each spectrum.

- Complete the table, listing for each spectrum the color you would see and match it to the corresponding region of the fish.
