Create and Light a Saltwater Aquarium

Investigate a variety of plants, fish and coral that can live in saltwater aquaria. Choose a few to live in your tank then decide how to light the tank so all of its inhabitants thrive.

Light Your Tank Part 2: Draw the Spectrum

Spectrum Tool. The top tool has sample spectra showing various percentages of red, green, and blue light, as well as a few mixes.

  1. Look at each of the sample spectra.
  2. In the bottom tool, draw the spectrum you’d expect to see from your lighting design from Part 1.

Spectrum Notebook. Take a screenshot of your drawing and post it in Part 2.
